Nowadays, self-driving machines are playing a major role in boosting agricultural productivity. For autonomous equipment to perform its tasks autonomously, it needs data from a variety of sensors. The Automation PC for outdoor use can collect large amounts of data from multiple equipment and forward it to higher-level systems.

A tractor, for example, can share information about their respective speeds and load capacities. When agricultural machines can exchange information, they become more effective in the field. B&R offers a tool for implementing PC-based tasks like predictive maintenance, big data analytics for machine optimisation or security gateways. To provide the processing power needed for analytics and autonomous processes, B&R offers a specially designed PC for mobile machinery.
