Larsen & Toubro has partnered with FAYAT Road Equipment Division India to market BOMAG’s specialised road construction equipment in India, expanding its portfolio across road building and infrastructure machinery. The partnership covers marketing, sales, after-sales support and spare-parts supply for BOMAG’s road milling machines, soil stabilisers and cement spreaders. The German equipment manufacturer is part of France-based FAYAT’s Road Equipment Division and specialises in technologies for road construction and infrastructure development. The new range will complement L&T’s existing road machinery portfolio and allow it to address a wider range of road construction, maintenance and infrastructure applications. L&T’s nationwide service network, supported by its central warehouse in Nagpur, will provide technical and after-sales support. The tie-up comes as India continues to expand highways, expressways and urban roads, increasing demand for specialised equipment that can improve productivity, precision and project timelines. For contractors, the partnership could provide wider access to advanced road-building technologies backed by local service capabilities. The development also reflects a larger industry shift towards specialised machinery as infrastructure projects become more complex and execution efficiency becomes increasingly critical.
