Rolls-Royce Power Systems Hits Record €5 Bn Sales Milestone

Rolls-Royce Power Systems achieved record financial results in 2024, surpassing €5.05 billion in sales, an 11 per cent increase. Adjusted operating profit rose 40 per cent to €662 million, with a return on sales reaching 13.1 per cent.

Growth was fuelled by strong demand for mtu backup power systems, particularly for data centres (+46 per cent) and government contracts (+17 per cent). The company secured €6 billion in new orders and is investing in new product development, including a next-gen mtu engine with 20 per cent more power.

Major investments include expanding production in Mankato, Aiken, and Friedrichshafen, ensuring capacity for rising global demand.
