SaMoTer 2026 Confirms Global Equipment Leaders

SaMoTer 2026, Italy’s flagship international exhibition for construction equipment, will be held from 6–9 May 2026 in Verona, positioning the city as a key global hub for construction machinery and technology. The exhibition has recently confirmed participation from leading global brands including Komatsu, Hyundai and Kobelco, along with the much-anticipated return of Volvo CE.

The strong exhibitor presence reinforces SaMoTer’s role as a major international platform for earthmoving, concrete, demolition and road-building technologies. The upcoming edition will place a strong emphasis on digitalisation, automation and sustainability, reflecting the construction sector’s transition towards smarter, more efficient and environmentally responsible solutions.

Second Mountain Tunnel Breakthrough in Palghar Advances High Speed Rail

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail (MAHSR) project reached a milestone with the breakthrough of a mountain tunnel in Palghar, Maharashtra. Mountain tunnel MT-six measures 454 metres long and 14.4 metres wide and will accommodate up and down tracks. Modi Government Pushes Atmanirbhar Container Drive With BCSL MoU

The Union Government advanced a plan to create an integrated, domestically anchored container ecosystem with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the Bharat Container Shipping Line (BCSL).
