Navi Mumbai municipal corp identifies 119 properties for tax dues

On Wednesday, an official told the media that the Navi Mumbai civic body had attached 119 properties as non-payment of property taxes.

The spokesperson of the Municipal Corporation issued a final decree and told the property owners to pay the property taxes within 21 days or else these properties will be auctioned off to recover the tax dues.

He further said that this step was taken because the owners failed to pay the taxes even after multiple notices.

Among the attached properties, seven are located in Airoli, ten in Turbhe, 12 in Ghansoli, 17 in Kopar Khairane, 19 in Belapur, 20 in Nerul, and 34 in Vashi.
