Centrum Housing acquires National Trust Housing's home loan portfolio

Centrum Housing Finance, a Morgan Stanley-backed subsidiary of the diversified Centrum Group, has paid Rs 1.12 billion for Chennai-based National Trust Housing Finance's Rs 3 billion home loan portfolio.

Centrum Housing has entered into a binding agreement to acquire National Trust Housing Finance's housing finance business, the Centrum group said in a statement, without disclosing the transaction's value. According to sources, the Jaspal Bindra-led company paid around Rs 1.12 billion for the transaction.
