Congress protests eviction notices in Chandigarh's Sector 29-B

The Chandigarh unit of the Congress organised a demonstration in opposition to the eviction notices issued to 63 homes in Sector 29-B. Residents of the colony actively participated in the protest. Unit president H S Lucky underscored the Congress Party's historical commitment to uplifting weaker sections of society through inclusive housing schemes.

Expressing his appeal to the Chandigarh administration, Lucky urged them to reconsider the encroachment notices, assuring residents that the party would steadfastly support them. Congress general secretary Zahid Pervez Khan asserted, "The notices must be withdrawn without delay."
