Hindware Strengthens Eastern Footprint with New Brand Store in Kolkata

Bathware major Hindware has expanded its retail footprint in West Bengal with the launch of a new state-of-the-art brand store in Ichapore, Kolkata. This marks the company’s fourth brand store in the city and 30th in the state, underlining its strategic focus on the eastern market. 

The newly launched store, operated by Tirupati Sales Corporation, showcases the entire spectrum of Hindware’s bathware offerings, including sanitaryware, faucets, showers, basins, and products from its premium lines — Queo and the Hindware Italian Collection. It is aimed at providing an immersive experience for customers, interior designers, and architects seeking innovative bathroom solutions. 

With its latest opening, Hindware is looking to tap into the rising demand driven by infrastructure growth, urban redevelopment, and real estate momentum in Kolkata, one of the fastest-growing metros in India. 

Speaking on the occasion, Nirupam Sahay, CEO – Bath & Tiles, Hindware, said, “Kolkata’s urban transformation and aspirational customer base have made it a key focus for us. The growing popularity of our offerings has encouraged us to expand further, and this store is another step towards strengthening our commitment to the region.” 

Hindware currently operates over 575 brand stores and 35,000 retail touchpoints nationwide, supported by 500+ dealers across 700+ districts. Its after-sales network includes over 1,090 service technicians, with a turnaround time of 24 hours in metro cities and 48 hours in non-metro areas.

DMR Engineering reported its half year results for the financial year ended 31 March 2026 and published full year figures on a standalone basis.
