Homegrown Femtech Startup Raises Seed Funding Of USD 1.5 Million
Elda Health, a women-driven one-stop holistic health platform for the mid-aged metropolitan woman, said today that it has secured USD 1.5 million in a seed round led by Avaana Capital, Orios Ventures, and the Ananth Narayanan Family Office. With this funding, the Bengaluru-based company will be able to grow its products, operations, acquire new personnel, and onboard health and wellness specialists and physicians to broaden its circle of knowledge.
Swathi Kulkarni, Sindhuri Ananth, and Shubham Sharma, the company's founders, have a shared enthusiasm for expanding healthcare access. Swathi, an ISB alumni, is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience working for companies such as Nua, Komli, Amazon, and others. Sindhuri holds a master's degree in computer software engineering and has previously held positions at KPMG and Intel. Swathi and Sindhuri, both in their 30s, think that before becoming entrepreneurs, they must first be consumers. Shubham, a BITS Pilani graduate, formerly worked at Goldman Sachs and Walmart Labs.
Elda is a constant companion for women in their forties and fifties on their healthcare journey, providing them with quantitative health outcomes. Elda uses a dynamic dashboard to let users manage everything from symptoms to activities, as well as a thorough reporting system to track progress toward their health objectives.
