TOTO India Launches Ultra-Luxurious WASHLET S7 for Smarter, Sleeker Bathrooms

TOTO India has unveiled the WASHLET S7, its most advanced and luxurious electronic bidet seat yet. The latest addition to TOTO’s iconic WASHLET range—which has earned the trust of users for over 42 years and seen over 73 million units sold globally as of 2024—brings together Japanese innovation, refined aesthetics, and a comprehensive hygiene suite tailored for today’s discerning consumers.

The WASHLET S7 features a slimmer profile, occupying 25 per cent less space than previous models. It houses 60 patented technologies and offers enhanced functionality across every aspect of user experience—from intuitive seat sensing to precision hygiene features.

“Indian consumers today are looking for more than functionality; they want products that elevate their everyday routines,” said Mr Shiozawa Kazuyuki, Managing Director, TOTO India. “WASHLET S7 is one of our most refined models in the product category—it is intuitive, luxurious, and engineered in a way to make every moment in the bathroom exceptional, with no compromise on functionality.”

Designed to enhance bathroom ambience, the unit’s overall thickness has been significantly reduced to create a sleek appearance. Its ergonomic contour supports natural posture and ease of use, making it a subtle yet elegant addition to modern homes.

A recent multi-country survey across China, Taiwan, the US, and Germany highlighted growing concerns over toilet hygiene, particularly the underside of the seat—an area that 37–56 per cent of users considered most difficult to clean. Responding to these insights, TOTO has introduced a major upgrade: the EWATER+ technology now extends its self-cleaning function to the underseat area, in addition to its wand and bowl. Fine misting sprays activated before and after each use ensure a consistently clean, hands-free experience.

Complementing EWATER+ are other hallmark TOTO technologies such as PREMIST, CEFIONTECT glaze, a RIMLESS bowl with TORNADO FLUSH, and CLEAN RESIN coating. Together, they deliver comprehensive cleanliness with minimal user effort.

The WASHLET S7 also enhances user comfort with features such as a heated seat, warm air drying, deodoriser, and a discreet soft light—turning bathrooms into spa-like retreats. A newly designed remote control, with a pearl-textured finish and precision-machined metal accents, offers ease of use with a premium aesthetic.

Further elevating user convenience, the product ensures smooth and quiet lid operation through automated torque control. The nozzle mechanism also operates more silently, reinforcing the calming experience.

“With this upgrade, we continue our mission to bring world-class wellness and comfort to Indian homes,” added Mr Kazuyuki. “The WASHLET S7 proves that great design is not just about aesthetics—it’s about innovation, hygiene, and everyday ease.”

TOTO India’s latest innovation reaffirms its leadership in the smart hygiene segment and its ongoing commitment to redefining bathroom experiences through user-centric, sustainable, and high-performance design.
