KONE Expands Bengaluru Office to Strengthen South India Reach

KONE Elevator India has expanded its Bengaluru Branch and South Regional Office in Hebbal, strengthening its operations across Karnataka and South India.

The facility will support sales, installation, service and modernisation activities across Karnataka while providing regional leadership and operational support for the company’s South India business. It was inaugurated by Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE Elevator India and South Asia, and Murali Malayappan, Chairman and Managing Director, Shriram Properties.

The office will support customers in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mandya, Kolar, Tumakuru, Chamarajanagar and other parts of Karnataka. It will also serve as an experience centre showcasing KONE’s elevator solutions, digital technologies and smart People Flow innovations.

KONE is associated with several residential, commercial, healthcare and technology projects across Karnataka. Its customers and project partners include ITC Green Centre, IKEA, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, ITPL, Embassy Group, Titanium Tech Park, Sattva Group, Sobha Group, Shriram Properties, Kalyani Tech Park, Carl Zeiss, Wistron and GE HealthCare.

Karnataka’s expanding premium housing, commercial real estate, Global Capability Centre and technology park sectors are driving demand for connected and sustainable vertical mobility solutions. The expanded facility is expected to improve service response, lifecycle support and customer collaboration across the region.

“Karnataka continues to be one of KONE’s most strategic growth markets, supported by rapid urbanisation, a strong technology ecosystem and investments in residential, commercial and infrastructure development,” Gossain said.

He added that the expansion would bring KONE closer to its customers, improve response times and create skilled employment opportunities while supporting the development of smarter, safer and sustainable cities.
