Lemon Tree Hotels Signs 100-Room Premier Property in Madurai

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has signed a new 100-room Lemon Tree Premier property in Madurai, strengthening its presence across Tamil Nadu’s commercial and leisure markets.

The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Following the signing, the group’s Tamil Nadu portfolio comprises eight properties, including five operational hotels and three upcoming developments.

The hotel will feature 100 rooms along with a restaurant, banquet facilities, a meeting room, fitness centre and swimming pool. It will cater to both business and leisure travellers, while also providing facilities for meetings and events.

Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., said Madurai’s position as a cultural, pilgrimage and commercial centre creates demand from corporate and leisure travellers. He added that the signing supports the company’s strategy of expanding across high-potential urban markets in South India.

The property is located around 14 km from Madurai Airport and approximately 3 km from Madurai Railway Station, providing connectivity to key destinations across the country.
