MHADA Konkan Board Opens Lottery for 5,285 Flats, 77 Plots

The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a regional unit of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), has announced a housing lottery offering 5,285 flats and 77 residential plots across Thane, Palghar, Sindhudurg, and Badlapur. 

The application process will go live on July 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM and will be inaugurated by MHADA Vice President and CEO, Mr Sanjeev Jaiswal, IAS. 

The initiative includes five housing components. Under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme, 565 flats will be allotted. The 15% Integrated Urban Housing Scheme offers 3,002 flats, while 1,677 units are available under the Konkan Board Housing Scheme, including scattered inventory. Additionally, 41 flats fall under the 50% Affordable Housing category. In the plot segment, 77 plots in Oros (Sindhudurg) and Kulgaon-Badlapur are also part of the scheme. 

Applications may be submitted online until 11:59 PM on August 13, 2025, with the earnest money deposit (EMD) payable until 11:59 PM on August 14, 2025. Only fully completed applications with the necessary documents will be considered for eligibility. 

The provisional list of eligible applicants will be published on August 21 at 6:00 PM on MHADA’s official website. Objections or corrections may be submitted until August 25, 6:00 PM. The final list will be made available on September 1, followed by a computerised draw on September 3 at 10:00 AM at Dr Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium in Thane. Results will be shared via SMS, email, and the MHADA mobile app. 

The application process will be managed through the IHLMS 2.0 platform. Interested individuals may apply via housing.mhada.gov.in or through the official MHADA Lottery App, available on Android and iOS. Detailed guidance material and a helpline number (022-69468100) have been provided to assist applicants.

She cautioned applicants against dealing with unauthorised agents or intermediaries, stating that the Board has not appointed any representatives for the process and will not be liable for any third-party fraud.
