Panchkula civic body organizes property tax camp on Sat, Sun

Panchkula Municipal Corporation (MC) has taken an initiative to ease the process for taxpayers by organizing property tax data correction and deposit camps for property holders residing in Mansa Devi Complex (MDC) sectors 4 and 5. These camps are set to take place at the MDC-4 community center on Saturday and the MDC-5 community center on Sunday, operating between 10 am and 4 pm.

MC Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Chaudhary encouraged residents of MDC sectors 4 and 5 to attend these camps, where they can rectify any errors in their property IDs, submit property tax payments, and address other property tax-related matters. Chaudhary emphasized the importance of bringing all necessary documents to facilitate the resolution of property tax issues.

Furthermore, Chaudhary announced a 15% tax rebate for residents who self-certify their properties on the NDC portal by September 30. This incentive aims to encourage property owners to update their property information promptly and take advantage of the tax rebate.

The organization of these camps underscores Panchkula Municipal Corporation's commitment to enhancing taxpayer convenience and facilitating property tax-related procedures for the residents of MDC sectors 4 and 5.
