The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced additional proposals aimed at refining the Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) framework. This move is anticipated to bring about significant improvements in the real estate and infrastructure investment landscape. In line with these proposals, the regulatory authority aims to issue subordinate units, offering investors more diversified options. These strategic measures seek to enhance the appeal of REITs and InvITs, fostering increased participation from investors.
