Trichy calls for applications for temporary building plan approvals

The Trichy district administration is extending an invitation to qualified professionals, including civil engineers, to apply for temporary recognition. This recognition enables them to approve building plans for applicants in rural areas.

In an official statement, Trichy Collector M Pradeepkumar highlighted the Tamil Nadu government's introduction of an online service for plan approvals in rural areas, covering residential and commercial buildings, residential plots, and industries.

Construction engineers and technical experts are encouraged to submit applications for recognition from the district administration. This recognition empowers them to create and issue building plans to individuals.

Professionals such as architects, engineers, structural engineers, construction engineers, quality auditors, town planners, and developers can seek recognition by submitting photocopies of their educational certificates, Aadhaar card, and other required documents. Applications should be sent to the email address adptry@nic(dot)in or the office of the Assistant Director of Panchayats before November 24.

It is emphasised that the recognition is granted on a temporary basis, and the Collector retains sole discretion in approving or rejecting applications.
