Viceroy Hotels Cleared To Buy SLN Terminus Property

Viceroy Hotels Limited has received shareholder approval to acquire SLN Terminus Hotels and Resorts Private Limited for a total consideration of Rs 2.06 billion, following an extraordinary general meeting held on December 27, 2025.

SLN Terminus Hotels and Resorts is an India-incorporated company operating a Marriott-associated hotel on leased premises at SLN Terminus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. According to exchange filings, the property comprises 75 long-stay rooms located across the ninth to twelfth floors, with a built-up area of around 165,000 sq ft, along with parking facilities and an undivided land share of approximately 2,442 square yards.

The acquisition will be executed entirely through cash consideration and, upon completion, SLN Terminus Hotels and Resorts will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Viceroy Hotels Limited. The transaction is expected to be completed within one year from the date of shareholder approval.

The company disclosed that the deal qualifies as a related-party transaction, as Viceroy Hotels director S. Prabhaker Reddy also serves as the managing director of the target entity. Viceroy Hotels said the acquisition has been undertaken at arm’s length, supported by independent valuation reports.

Viceroy Hotels stated that the acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand its hospitality portfolio and strengthen its asset base and market presence. The company expects the transaction to generate operational synergies, improve cost efficiencies and optimise resource utilisation, while supporting revenue growth and profitability over the medium to long term.
