Altos Launches ‘Make in India’ AI Server Portfolio

Altos Computing, an Acer Inc. group company, has recently launched its ‘Make in India’ AI server portfolio, marking a key step in strengthening India’s AI and data centre ecosystem.

The announcement was made at a launch event in New Delhi attended by senior government officials, industry leaders, and technology partners. The event underscored the growing importance of domestic manufacturing in building a robust digital infrastructure.

The highlight was the unveiling of the Altos BrainSphere R300 AI Series Server, designed for high-performance computing and next-generation AI workloads. The platform features high-density GPU acceleration, scalable memory architecture, and advanced thermal efficiency, enabling enterprises, research institutions, and government organisations to manage compute-intensive applications with enhanced performance and reliability.

The initiative aligns with India’s ambition to build a sovereign AI ecosystem by enabling local manufacturing and faster deployment of advanced computing infrastructure. It also aims to support rising demand across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, research, and public services.

Altos emphasised collaboration within the AI ecosystem, working closely with partners, developers, and enterprises to accelerate AI adoption at scale. The company also showcased its broader portfolio, including the R370 and R680 AI servers, along with edge computing systems and enterprise collaboration solutions.

Live demonstrations highlighted real-world AI use cases such as predictive analytics, intelligent video analytics, and smart manufacturing automation, reinforcing the role of advanced infrastructure in driving India’s digital transformation.
