Approval of building maps in Uttar Pradesh to be processed online in 30 days

In a bid to create efficiency and transparency, the Uttar Pradesh Government has instructed development authorities to make sure that all applications for approval of building maps are processed within 30 days of receipt.

The state government has also directed the authorities to put a stop to the offline processing of the applications. All approvals to building maps will now solely be processed online. The state housing department has also in addition, chalked out the process for applications in relation to the following approvals.

Reportedly, Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary, UP Government has stated that all applicants must be intimidated about the status of applications and that any issues arising in terms of the approvals must be cleared out within 30 days.

Kumar has asked the development authorities that do not yet possess an online system, to implement and set it up immediately.
