Hexaware Appoints Shantanu Baruah to Head H&I Verticals

Hexaware Technologies, a global provider of IT services and consulting, has appointed Shantanu Baruah as President & Global Head – Healthcare, Life Sciences & Insurance (H&I). Based in New Jersey, Shantanu will drive the company’s global growth strategy, client success, and innovation across the H&I vertical.

Bringing over 25 years of domain expertise, Shantanu has a proven track record of leading complex digital transformations and scaling high-growth businesses. He previously served as Executive Vice President at HCLTech, where he led the Healthcare vertical and significantly expanded the company’s footprint across the Americas.

His appointment comes at a pivotal time when AI is transforming healthcare, from drug discovery to diagnostics. Hexaware aims to harness AI and data to improve patient outcomes, boost innovation, and enhance operational efficiency.
