Yotta Infrastructure will develop two data centres in UP in Jan 2022

Yotta Infrastructure Solutions has planned the construction of two data centre parks in Greater Noida Data Center Park in Uttar Pradesh in January 2022. The two buildings will have a 30 MW IT load capacity each and will be completed by January 2024.

The construction work of the first building of the Data Center Park was started in January this year and will be operational by July 2022. After completion, it will have a 30 MW IT load capacity.

The UP government has approved the company to set up a 20-acre of hyper-scale data centre park in Greater Noida. This will become the first data centre park in Greater Noida which will have six interconnected data centre buildings, with 30,000 racks capacity, powered by over 250 MW power.

The estimated price of the data centre park project is Rs 7,000 crore. It will generate direct and indirect employment within the state as the company expands its team.

It has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the governments of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal to set up data centre parks in Chennai and Kolkata. It has announced a data park in Navi Mumbai as well, Yotta NM1, certified by the Uptime Institute of USA.

After seeing increased demand for data centres, the company will commence work before the scheduled date. It will be the largest data centre park in the region, powered by 220 kV express feeders and an on-site substation, providing 100% green energy to the consumers.
