Asian Paints profit declines 18.5% in Q3 FY22

Asian Paints Limited had reported an 18.5% drop in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,031.29 crore during the third quarter (Q3) of December 2021.

The company told the media that it had witnessed a net profit of Rs 1,265.35 crore during the October-December quarter of FY22.

The revenue from operations increased by 25.61% to Rs 8,527.24 crore in 2021, compared to Rs 6,788.47 crore in 2020.

The company's total expenses were Rs 7,220.29 crore during the previous quarter of December 2021, up by 38.46% during the same period in 2020. The expenses were Rs 5,214.88 crore during the same period last year.

On 20 January, the company's shares traded at Rs 3,252.50, a decline of 0.87% on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
