Sarovar Hotels enters Kashmir, ties up with Royal Khazir
Sarovar Hotels has tied up with Royal Khazir Hotels and Resorts in Srinagar city. The City Forest Hotel owned by the Khazir group will now be renamed as Sarovar Portico. It will be group’s first hotel in Jammu and Kashmir.
Managing Director, Khazir Group, Saddam Zaroo told a newspaper that the hotel will be refurbished and launched by May 2013. Zaroo said that they will now work under the tag ‘Sarvovar group’. Sarovar will provide it management, infrastructure and technical expertise, Zaroo said.
He said this will be the Sarovar group’s first hotel in Srinagar which will cater to the growing number of tourists visiting the picturesque Valley.
