Aimtron Sets Up Rs 100 Cr ‘Aimtron Mechatronics’ in Gujarat

Aimtron Group has launched its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aimtron Mechatronics Pvt. Ltd., with a greenfield facility in Gujarat designed to strengthen India’s electronics and mechatronics ecosystem. The move follows approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and includes an initial Rs 3 crore share capital commitment, alongside Rs 100 crore raised through preferential convertible warrants.

The plant will generate 250–300 direct jobs in its first phase and is expected to employ more than 1,000 people as operations expand. In addition, over 2,500 indirect jobs will be created across supply chains, logistics, and allied services. The unit will initially cater to existing clients in electric vehicles, power electronics, and drone assembly, with revenues from India projected to touch Rs 750 crore in the near term.

Equipped with advanced Fuji SMT lines, AOI, selective soldering, and system-level box-build assembly, the facility is integrated with AI-enabled MES and ERP systems for precision manufacturing. Mukesh Vasani, Founder and Chairman of Aimtron Group, said the launch supports the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision by building globally competitive solutions from India. He emphasised the company’s ambition to create a trusted brand delivering end-to-end, high-quality design and manufacturing services.
