Enlight Metals Expands Raipur Facility to 4,000 Tonne Capacity

Enlight Metals has announced a significant expansion of its Raipur manufacturing facility, increasing production capacity from approximately 1,200 tonnes (t) to nearly 4,000 t to meet rising industrial demand. The capacity enhancement is described as a key milestone in the company’s growth strategy and is intended to strengthen its ability to serve industrial, infrastructure and contract manufacturing requirements. The expansion plan reinforces the firm’s emphasis on scalable manufacturing infrastructure and supply reliability.

Strategically sited in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the facility functions as a manufacturing hub designed for efficient production and long term scalability. The company anticipates that the enlarged capacity will improve operational efficiencies, enable delivery on larger project requirements and provide greater flexibility for contract manufacturing partners across sectors. The development is presented as aligning with broader industrial growth in the region.

The site incorporates modern production systems, technology enabled processes and digital monitoring linked to structured quality control practices to support productivity and reliability. These measures are intended to enhance production throughput while maintaining consistent quality standards and to create a foundation for future expansion of the contract manufacturing portfolio. The company expects enhanced production flexibility to support a wider range of project specifications and clients.

Beyond production gains, the expansion is expected to contribute to the local industrial ecosystem through creation of direct and indirect employment across manufacturing, logistics, technical operations and associated support functions. The development is framed as supporting Chhattisgarh’s emergence as a manufacturing destination and forming part of the company’s long term vision to strengthen its manufacturing footprint and operational capabilities. Headquartered in Pune and founded in 2024, Enlight Metals currently serves 500 OEMs across Maharashtra and beyond and the move is presented as furthering its capacity to supply Made in India solutions for sectors such as automobile manufacturing, railways, cable tray fabrication, renewable energy and construction.
