Enlight Metals Speeds Metal Deliveries by 35%

Enlight Metals has introduced its Agentic AI-enabled procurement platform aimed at addressing long-standing inefficiencies in India’s metal supply chain. The company reports 35 per cent faster procurement cycles and delivery timelines of up to 24 hours across major industrial regions.

As infrastructure and manufacturing activity intensify, metal sourcing has remained constrained by fragmented supply networks, limited demand visibility and manual coordination. Enlight Metals’ platform integrates Agentic AI across sourcing, inventory management and logistics, replacing reactive workflows with autonomous, data-driven execution.

At the centre of the system is an AI control layer that continuously analyses demand signals, order velocity, regional consumption patterns and live project activity. Using these inputs, the platform forecasts demand, optimises inventory placement and coordinates fulfilment decisions in real time, reducing supply delays and project downtime.

To support rapid execution, the company operates a network of AI-powered dark stores and micro-fulfilment hubs across more than four industrial corridors. By pre-positioning high-demand metal products closer to consumption centres, the model enables reliable 24-hour deliveries and reports a 25 per cent improvement in delivery efficiency compared to traditional procurement systems.

Beyond speed, the platform aims to enhance capital efficiency. By dynamically determining stock levels, replenishment cycles and dispatch priorities, Enlight Metals states that customers have achieved improved inventory turnover while reducing excess stock and working capital lock-in. The procurement lifecycle — from price discovery and availability checks to order confirmation and tracking — is fully digitised to enhance transparency and predictability.

Dhananjay Goel, Director, Enlight Metals, said, “Metal procurement has long been constrained by manual planning and delayed execution. By embedding Agentic AI across our supply chain, we are enabling measurable improvements, faster deliveries, better inventory utilisation, and stronger capital efficiency. Our focus is to help businesses execute projects without supply-side friction.”

Headquartered in Pune, Enlight Metals was founded in 2024 as a metal aggregator serving India’s core industrial sectors. The company connects OEMs and infrastructure players with verified suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality, competitive pricing and streamlined sourcing.

Enlight Metals currently serves over 500 OEMs across Maharashtra and other regions, catering to sectors including automobile manufacturing, railways, cable tray fabrication, solar and wind energy, heavy engineering and construction.
