Gujarat CM launches 23 projects in Vadodara

Chief minister Bhupendra Patel launched 23 projects worth Rs 293 crore of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC). He also inaugurated an MRI facility at the state-run SSG Hospital (SSGH) here.

The projects for which Patel kicked off work largely include those for the outgrowth areas of the city for which special provisions have been made. Of the 17 worth Rs 243 crore, projects include storm water drains, pumphouse, drainage and water supply works, resurfacing of roads as well as housing projects.

Patel also dedicated six other projects amounting to Rs 53 crore which include building for the urban community health center at Kishanwadi, a sewage treatment plant at Vemali, water supply networks and various online services of the civic body.

He dedicated an MRI facility at the SSGH which has come up at an investment of Rs 9.37 crore. MRI scans will be performed at the facility at Rs 2,000 which is much lower than the market cost. It will be free for BPL card holders and beneficiaries of other government schemes.

The office of Sayajigunj MLA and former mayor Keyur Rokadiya was also inaugurated by the CM during the visit. Besides other work brought by residents of the assembly constituency, it will also provide online services.

DMR Engineering Reports FY 25-26 Financial Results

DMR Engineering reported its half year results for the financial year ended 31 March 2026 and published full year figures on a standalone basis.
