IHG to Open Holiday Inn in Puri by 2028

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Ananya Group to open a Holiday Inn hotel in Puri by late 2028. This expansion aligns with IHG's strategy of targeting high-growth markets in India.

The Holiday Inn brand, known for its guest-centric approach, will feature its signature Open Lobby concept, offering a multi-functional space for work, dining, and relaxation.

Puri, a major Hindu pilgrimage hub, attracts over 2 million visitors annually with iconic sites like the Jagannath Temple and nearby attractions such as Chilika Lake and Konark’s Sun Temple. Located along the Bay of Bengal, the hotel will offer 100 sea-view rooms and three versatile meeting spaces, including a grand ballroom for MICE and social events.

IHG currently operates 46 hotels in India, with 58 more in the pipeline over the next 3-5 years.
