India launches initiative to boost healthcare access in rural areas

This groundbreaking program aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and quality in remote rural areas across the country, ensuring that even the most marginalised communities have access to essential medical services.

The 'Sehat Ghar Tak' initiative encompasses various components designed to strengthen rural healthcare infrastructure and services. It includes the establishment of telemedicine facilities, deployment of mobile health units, and augmentation of primary healthcare centres. Through the integration of technology and innovative healthcare delivery models, the program seeks to overcome geographical barriers and provide timely medical assistance to those in need.
