Suzlon Wins Rs 30 Billion Order for 381 MW Wind Project

Renewable energy company Suzlon has secured a 381 MW wind energy order from Zelestra India and its affiliates for their first-ever Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The Indian government has cancelled renewable energy procurement tenders totalling 11,400 MW (11.4 GW) since April 2023, amounting to nearly Rs 800 billion in project value. The Maharashtra government has given final approval to four Town Planning (TP) schemes prepared by the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), paving the way for faster infrastructure development and planned growth in surrounding villages, officials confirmed on Thursday.The approved schemes include two for Wadachiwadi, one each for Autade–Handewadi and Holkarwadi, and another for Fursungi within Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits.
