Magna Inaugurates New Manufacturing Facility in Chakan, Pune

Global automotive supplier and mobility technology company Magna has opened a new manufacturing facility in Chakan, Maharashtra.

panning 65,000 sq. ft., the state-of-the-art plant will produce advanced latches and mirrors for automotive applications, primarily catering to customers in western India.

Magna currently employs 7,000 people across 14 manufacturing and assembly facilities and five engineering, product, and sales offices in India.

The new facility is expected to generate over 300 jobs in the next three years, strengthening the local economy and supporting industrial growth in the region.
