MAJOR to Showcase Screening Solutions at steinexpo 2026

MAJOR, a global manufacturer of high-performance wire screen media, will showcase its OPTIMUMWIRE and FLEX-MAT screen media solutions at steinexpo 2026, scheduled from September 2-5 at Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany.

The company will exhibit at Stand B7, where visitors will be able to explore screening technologies designed to reduce blinding and pegging while increasing throughput and operational efficiency in quarrying and mining applications.

OPTIMUMWIRE will be one of the key products on display. Manufactured using a patented process, the wire is engineered to provide improved hardness, tensile strength and resistance to breakage. MAJOR also offers OPTIMUMWIRE PLUS for modular screen media, designed for highly abrasive materials such as granite and basalt.

The company will also showcase its FLEX-MAT tensioned and modular screen media. The solutions combine high-performance screen wire with polyurethane strips and use high-vibration technology to minimise material build-up and improve screening performance.

FLEX-MAT tensioned panels are available with OPTIMUMWIRE or stainless-steel wire, while FLEX-MAT modular systems can be configured with OPTIMUMWIRE, OPTIMUMWIRE PLUS or stainless-steel wire. The screen media can also be customised with different wire types, panel designs and attachment systems to suit individual applications.

Mike Offermans, Director of Sales and Market Development in Europe at MAJOR, said the basalt quarry setting at steinexpo provides an opportunity to demonstrate how the company’s screening technologies can help producers improve efficiency and profitability.

Matej Grm, European Territory Manager at MAJOR, said screening requirements vary according to production targets and material characteristics, making application-specific screen media selection important for achieving optimum performance.

MAJOR, a HAVER & BOECKER company, will exhibit alongside Haver & Boecker Niagara, highlighting integrated screening technologies and screen media solutions for aggregate and mining operations.
