Maruti Suzuki Preps for EV Shift

Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker, is investing heavily in upskilling its workforce as it prepares to launch its first battery electric vehicle (BEV) by March 2025. The company plans to train approximately 40,000 employees in the next three years to handle the intricacies of electric vehicle manufacturing and servicing.

The comprehensive training programme will cover various aspects of BEV technology, including manufacturing processes, quality control, and after-sales service.
