MobiKwik Launches Pocket UPI Campaign Featuring Jaideep Ahlawat

One MobiKwik Systems Limited, India’s largest digital wallet provider, has launched a multi-media campaign for its Pocket UPI product. The campaign features actor Jaideep Ahlawat, reprising his popular cop role to demonstrate how Pocket UPI simplifies payments.

Pocket UPI allows users to make unified payments interface (UPI) transactions without directly linking bank accounts, reducing fraud risks and keeping bank statements clutter-free. The product also enables better monthly spending control by allowing users to load specific amounts, alongside faster, PIN-less transactions.

The campaign aims to highlight common challenges in digital payments such as security risks and payment delays, positioning Pocket UPI as a smarter alternative. It launched with teaser content on social media, receiving significant engagement.

MobiKwik serves over 176 million registered users and 4.6 million merchants, offering a broad range of financial products including wallets, credit, savings, and insurance. The company is India’s largest digital wallet with a 23 per cent market share in prepaid payment instrument gross transaction value as of November 2024.
