Muthoot MCred Appoints Ombudsman and Chief Risk Officer

Muthoot MCred Limited has appointed Dr George Paul as Internal Ombudsman and Vigneshwaran Subramanian, ACMA, as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), strengthening its focus on customer grievance redressal, risk management and governance.

Dr Paul brings more than three decades of experience across banking, international finance, foreign exchange, trade finance and compliance. He previously served as Vice President in the Treasury Department at ESAF Small Finance Bank and headed the International Banking Division at South Indian Bank.

A Fellow of the Indian Institute of Bankers and a PhD in International Finance, Dr Paul will focus on strengthening the company’s customer grievance redressal framework and enhancing customer trust.

Subramanian brings experience in credit governance, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance. He previously served as Head of Credit at Asirvad Microfinance and has held leadership roles across risk management and governance functions.

Muthoot MCred said the appointments are expected to strengthen its professional management framework, regulatory preparedness and institutional capabilities as the gold loan NBFC continues to expand its operations.
