Road And Rail Links To Boost Access To Jewar Airport

Access to the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar is set to become faster and more seamless, with the Uttar Pradesh government developing an extensive multi-modal connectivity network linking the airport with Delhi-NCR, Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Meerut, and Haryana, officials announced on Thursday.

The initiative aims to create integrated road, rail, and bus connectivity to ensure smooth, safe, and sustainable travel for passengers, tourists, and industries using the new airport.

According to the government, the airport will be directly connected to the Yamuna Expressway, providing swift access to Greater Noida and Delhi. Additionally, the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway (via Ballabhgarh Link) will further enhance connectivity from Haryana and western India, enabling easier transit for both domestic and international travellers.

Once operational, the Noida International Airport will serve as a key aviation hub for northern India, supporting regional economic growth, tourism, and logistics. The planned infrastructure upgrades are expected to significantly reduce travel time between the airport and major cities across Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region.
