Coal India Limited (CIL), the state-owned coal mining enterprise, reported a 1.2 per cent decline in coal offtake in April 2025. The offtake stood at 63.4 Mn tonnes, down from 64.2 Mn tonnes in the same month last year, according to a regulatory filing.
