VE Commercial Vehicles sells 7609 units in September 2024

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 7609 units in September 2024 as compared to 7198 units in September 2023, a growth of 5.7%. This includes 7322 units of Eicher brand and 287 units of Volvo brand.

Following are details for September 2024: Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 7322 units in September 2024 as compared to 6965 units in September 2023 representing a growth of 5.1%. In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6847 units in September 2024 as compared to 6715 units in September 2023, representing a growth of 2.0%. On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded sales of 475 units in September 2024 as compared to 250 units in September 2023, representing a growth of 90 %. Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 287 units in September 2024 as compared to 233 units in September 2023, representing a growth of 23.2%.

BBMP Pledges Faster E-Khata Processing Amid Citizen Complaints

Facing mounting complaints over delays in e-khata issuance, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has promised to resolve the issue within 10 days.
