VECV sales rise 15.8% to 8,241 units in July 2026

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, recorded sales of 8,241 units in July 2026, compared with 7,115 units in July 2025, registering a growth of 15.8 per cent. The sales included 8,045 units of the Eicher brand and 196 units of the Volvo brand.

Eicher-branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 8,045 units in July 2026, compared with 6,940 units in the corresponding period last year, reflecting a growth of 15.9 per cent. In the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher trucks and buses achieved sales of 7,575 units, up from 6,410 units in July 2025, marking an 18.2 per cent growth.

VECV’s exports stood at 470 units in July 2026, compared with 530 units in July 2025, registering a decline of 11.3 per cent.

Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 196 units in July 2026, compared with 175 units in July 2025, growing by 12 per cent.

VECV, operational since December 2008, offers a complete range of Eicher-branded trucks and buses, Volvo Buses, and exclusive distribution of Volvo Trucks in India. The company also undertakes engine manufacturing and exports for Volvo Group, along with non-automotive engines and Eicher component businesses.
