Welspun Corp Order Book Reaches Rs 257.5 bn After Rs 960 Crore Deal

Welspun Corp Limited (the company) said it has received a new order for the supply of coated line pipes from its manufacturing facility at Little Rock in the United States, valued at Rs 960 crore, equivalent to Rs nine point six billion (bn). The order pertains to coated line pipe products and expands the firm's project backlog in the North American market. The company indicated the contract strengthens its international commercial footprint. The award follows ongoing bids and underscores sustained client demand for coated systems.

This addition takes the consolidated global order book to approximately Rs 25,750 crore, or Rs 257.5 billion, making it the strongest in the company's history and reaffirming robust revenue visibility and capacity utilisation across manufacturing assets in India and the United States. The firm emphasised that the enlarged order book underpins medium term production planning and supports sustained employment at its plants. The disclosure noted that the estimate is consolidated across operations. The company also cited improved order visibility across product lines.

The orders are scheduled for execution over financial years FY27 and FY28 and are expected to drive steady revenue recognition during the period. The company said the pipeline infrastructure market continues to present contract opportunities and that secured work provides greater predictability for capital deployment and operational scheduling. Management highlighted that the award complements existing contracts and aids long term strategic positioning. It will assist scheduling of materials and subcontracting activity, thereby smoothing delivery timetables.

The announcement was made in compliance with applicable listing regulations and the company's code of practice for fair disclosure of unpublished price sensitive information. The company filed the requisite intimation with stock exchanges for information and records. Stakeholders will monitor execution milestones as the projects progress. Investors and clients will track progress against contractual milestones during the execution window.
