Welspun Partners with Saudi Aramco to Set Up Manufacturing Facility

Welspun Corp Ltd announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Saudi Aramco to establish a Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipe manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The facility will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 metric tonnes and is expected to begin operations by mid-2026.

Welspun has been a long-time partner of Saudi Aramco, contributing to numerous oil and gas pipeline projects in the Kingdom.

This new facility is designed to cater to future line pipe requirements for Saudi Aramco’s ongoing and upcoming projects, including those related to the transmission of oil, gas, hydrogen, and Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) developments, according to the company’s statement.
