The Assam Power Generation Corporation (APGCL) has floated a tender for 25 MW of grid-connected solar projects at the Namrup Thermal Power Station. The last date for the submission of bids is March 26, 2021. The project must be commissioned within one year from the date of issue of the letter of award. Assam cabinet nod for Rs 190 cr power purchase subsidy

The Assam cabinet on Friday decided to extend a power purchase subsidy of Rs 1.90 billion to a state-owned utility to avoid a hike in tariff in the financial year 2022-23 and provide relief to consumers.
