Gamesa wins 40 MW wind power project

Gamesa has bagged an order for a 40 MW Wind Power Project from ReNew Power, one of India´s largest clean energy companies. The turnkey project is scheduled to commission in March 2016.ReNew Power is India´s leading independent power producer (IPP) in the renewable energy sector creating value to its stakeholders through best-in-class development and management of solar and wind power projects. The company currently has over 1,300 MW of commissioned and under-construction wind and solar energy projects in its portfolio. As part of the agreement, Gamesa will supply 20 G97-2.0 MW T-104m turbines for installation at Lingsagur site in Karnataka. This is ReNew Power´s third project in the state.
