Polycab Expands Lighting Business Under FMEG Growth Plan

Polycab India, a leading manufacturer of wires and cables and one of the fastest-growing players in the Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) category, is expanding its Lighting and Luminaries business as a key pillar of growth.   

Driven by rising consumer demand, Polycab is extending its lighting portfolio across residential, commercial, and outdoor categories to strengthen its position as a trusted name in homes and workplaces. In FY25, the company introduced over 200 new SKUs, expanded its network to nearly 700 towns, and partnered with more than 170 distributors and 11,500 retailers nationwide. 

Polycab’s “A Bright, Beautiful Connection” campaign positions lighting as a lifestyle choice linked to well-being, sustainability, and cultural celebration. The company aims to make its Lighting division a strategic growth engine within its FMEG portfolio.

Polycab recently launched its premium Gliss ceiling light series, featuring high lumen efficacy and sleek design, alongside a new Outdoor LED range that includes weatherproof gate lights, rope lights, floodlights, and streetlights for Indian outdoor spaces.

DMR Engineering reported its half year results for the financial year ended 31 March 2026 and published full year figures on a standalone basis.
