Tata Steel Reports FY2026 Production And Deliveries

Tata Steel reported provisional production and delivery volumes for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 2026. Million (mn), billion (bn) and tonne (t) are used below. The group recorded best-ever annual crude steel production in India of 23.48 mn t driven by ramp up at Kalinganagar. Tata Steel Netherlands produced six point six nine mn t and Tata Steel Thailand reported one point three three mn t of saleable steel for the year.

Tata Steel India achieved annual deliveries of 22.53 mn t with domestic volumes crossing 20 mn t for the first time. Fourth quarter crude steel production in India stood at six point two five mn t, up 15 per cent year on year, while fourth quarter deliveries rose 10 per cent to record quarterly highs. The Jamshedpur blast furnace relining and other planned maintenance partially offset the Kalinganagar benefit.

The Automotive and Special Products vertical delivered about three point four mn t and recorded quarterly volumes close to one mn t as new downstream capacities supported a shift to high-end products, which were up 11 per cent year on year. The Branded Products and Retail vertical recorded about seven point three mn t with Tata Tiscon at two point four mn t and the cold-rolled brand achieving 28 per cent growth. The Industrial Products and Projects vertical delivered seven point two mn t aided by value-accretive segments.

Tata Steel Netherlands reported annual deliveries of six point one four mn t and fourth quarter deliveries rose to one point seven mn t. Tata Steel UK recorded annual deliveries of two point two one mn t and continues work on the setup of a three MTPA electric arc furnace at Port Talbot. Tata Steel Thailand reported annual deliveries of one point three two mn t, up 11 per cent year on year driven by strong domestic rebar sales. Gross merchandise value from e-commerce platforms was Rs 93.6 bn for the year, up 161 per cent.
