Airbus Expands Indian Aerospace Contracts

Airbus Inks Deals with Indian Firms for Aircraft Component Manufacturing European aerospace leader Airbus has announced new agreements with Indian suppliers ? Aequs, Dynamatic, Gardner, and Mahindra Aerospace. These contracts will facilitate the production of airframe and wing components for Airbus' A320neo, A330neo, and A350 programs.

In its ongoing commitment to "Make in India," Airbus aims to bolster India's aerospace manufacturing capabilities, building a stronger partnership with these suppliers and reinforcing India's role as a vital resource hub for the aerospace industry. These collaborations are expected to further support Airbus' global aircraft programs and generate employment opportunities, with the company and its supply chain currently providing jobs for nearly 10,000 people in India, a number set to increase to 15,000 by 2025.
