Belrise Acquires UK Precision Aerospace Supplier

Belrise Industries Limited (BIL) said its step-down wholly owned subsidiary, Belrise UK Holdings Limited, has signed a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire 100 per cent of Chester Hall Precision Engineering Holdings Limited (Chester Hall), a United Kingdom based precision engineering group serving the aerospace, space and defence sectors. The transaction marks a strategic entry for BIL into high-value aerospace and space manufacturing and is intended to broaden the group's engineering platform beyond automotive. Chester Hall specialises in machining aerostructures, aero-engine components and satellite parts and is a single-source supplier to major global programmes.

Chester Hall offers expertise in aerospace alloys and exotic materials including titanium and high-grade aluminium and provides concurrent design and development for mission-critical components. The acquisition was completed at an EV/EBITDA multiple of six times and is expected to be accretive to earnings per share and return on capital employed from day one, with deferred consideration linked to Chester Hall’s calendar year 2026 performance. The company reported revenues of approximately £18.5 mn and an enterprise value of £13.2 mn.

BIL said the deal provides instant access to certified aerospace precision manufacturing and creates a platform to serve global original equipment manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers at scale while integrating BIL’s large-scale manufacturing capabilities in India and France with Chester Hall’s precision engineering. The transaction is expected to strengthen India’s role in the international aerospace supply chain and advance the group’s diversification into aerospace, defence and renewable energy.

BIL is a Pune based automotive component manufacturer offering safety-critical systems and engineering solutions across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, commercial vehicles and agri-vehicles. The company specialises in precision sheet metal pressing and fabrication, holds 24 per cent market share in two-wheeler metal fabrication, and has 21 manufacturing facilities across nine states in India as well as one facility in France, with longstanding relationships with over 38 original equipment manufacturers. Chester Hall will provide design, development and manufacture of high-precision components and assemblies for mission-critical aerospace programmes and serve as the precision engineering anchor for the enlarged group.

How Hormuz is Hijacking Indian Highways

At the recently held RAHSTA Round Table on 29th April in Pune, and earlier during our webinars for Cement Expo by Indian Cement Review and by FIRST Construction Council on manufacturing construction equipment for the world, one thread lay common: the industry is being subjected to a cost-push chain reaction moving from crude oil → freight/insurance → steel, cement fuel, bitumen, polymers, packaging, logistics and finally project margins. Indeed, the West Asia crisis caused by the war and the Hormuz Strait blockade, which does not directly concern us, has turned around and hit us. If the wa..
