YEIDA aims to launch residential plot scheme near Jewar by Dec 25

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) plans to open a scheme in Sector 16 near Jewar with 450 residential plots ranging in size from 120 to 300 sq m by December 25. According to YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh, the land price is likely to be around Rs 17,800 per sq m.

Officials said there has been an increase in interest for residential, commercial, and industrial plots in the region following the laying of the foundation stone for the Noida International Airport at Jewar last month. As a result, the YEIDA has begun planning for the launch of a residential plot scheme.

The residential plot scheme will be launched by December 25, according to the CEO, while the authority's planning department is still sourcing plots and finalising details.

Sector 16 of YEIDA is a mixed-use land-use sector that includes both residential and commercial properties.

In sectors 32 and 33, close to the airport project site along the Yamuna Expressway, the scheme offers plots with sizes of 450 sq m, 1,000 sq m, and 3,000 sq m. According to officials, YEIDA wants to encourage small-scale industries and start-up businesses to set up shop in the plots.

According to officials, the Yeida will initially offer 68 plots to interested buyers and will later put up more plots for sale if there is sufficient demand in the market.

After all of the applicants have submitted their applications, the Yeida will review each applicant's documents and then contact the eligible parties for an interview to determine plot allocation.

In sectors 32 and 33, the Yeida is building roads, parks, drainage, and other basic civic amenities.
