Trimble India hosts CXO Conclave in Mumbai

Trimble Solutions India, a subsidiary of US-headquartered, NASDAQ listed Trimble Inc, hosted a CXO conclave in Mumbai on November 28, 2019. In line with the conclave theme ‘Future of Construction’, Trimble showcased its latest innovations and products, highlighting its strength and leadership in construction technology, both hardware and software solutions and services.

Over 200 leading industry professionals and experts that included representatives from MMRDA, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, Larsen & Toubro, Shapoorji Pallonji, Tata Projects and Kalpataru among many others, attended the conclave, making the event one of the most compelling construction technology leadership forums in India in recent times.

The day long conclave witnessed a series of panel discussions, starting with a keynote discussion that brought into focus the outlook of key industry stakeholders on the future of construction and the role of digital technologies in the industry’s growth. Multiple sessions that debated on the technology’s role as a disrupter in construction brought a number of valuable insights for the audience on how the industry can build a better future with digital technologies.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajan Aiyer, Vice President & Managing Director, Trimble India and SAARC region, and also one of the speakers during the keynote session said, “India has started to take bold strident steps towards adoption of construction technology, with marque construction firms leading the charge. We are happy to see that most industry stakeholders recognise the importance of digital tools and their role and contribution towards sectoral growth. The use of cutting-edge technologies has helped some key construction projects in multiple ways, including reducing rework and wastage, which in turns hastens project completion and improves productivity. Complex infrastructure projects, such as the upcoming Chenab bridge, the world’s highest railway bridge, rely on sophisticated digital tech to transform vision into reality.”

Trimble is the world’s leading technology solutions company with solutions and services being offered in various industries such as construction, geospatial, agriculture, geospatial, transportation and logistics, amongst others.

Highlighting the key takeaways, Paul Wallett, Regional Director, Trimble Solutions India and Middle East, thanked the participants for their valuable time and stated, “Trimble is humbled by the response it has received from the Indian construction industry. The construction tech solutions and services that we offer reflect the voice of the industry, and customer voices at this conclave amply validated this point. The CXO Conclave provided us with a platform to interact with the great minds of the Indian construction industry, and allowed us to understand and discuss the trends that can potentially redefine the gold standards of the industry.”
