BICES 2023: Construction Expo Triumphs

The 16th China Beijing International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, and Mining Machines Exhibition & Seminar, known as BICES 2023, was a highly influential international construction machinery exhibition held at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) from September 20 to 23, 2023, marking a reunion after a four-year hiatus.

BICES 2023 featured a remarkable turnout with 1,320 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, occupying a vast exhibition space of 150,000 square meters. The event saw the participation of over 300,000 visitors, including more than 150,000 industry professionals from over 70 countries and regions who attended the event in person. Throughout BICES 2023, more than a hundred industry-themed professional events were organised by various stakeholders, resulting in a historic achievement in terms of both scale and impact. Observers noted that BICES 2023's significant success lay in its ability to reflect the dynamic trends in the new energy engineering machinery market and in showcasing the impressive product innovations developed by companies to meet the ever-changing market demands. Furthermore, it highlighted the robust industrial foundation and innovative capacity of the entire industry chain. As a result, BICES has established itself as a vital platform for the construction machinery industry's transition into the new energy era.

The exhibition presented an array of new and cutting-edge equipment, providing an awe-inspiring visual experience for attendees. The indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, featuring 15 specialised show areas, were fully booked, and the exhibition hall utilisation reached an all-time high. The exhibition's theme, "Digital, Efficient, Green, and Reliable," guided the display of over 1,300 domestic and international exhibitors who showcased a multitude of high-end, intelligent, and environmentally friendly products and technologies. Additionally, businesses throughout the industry chain, including Han's Laser, Nanjing Steel, LKC Hydraulic Machinery, Cummins, Eddie Precision, Henan Jiachen, Shandong Weimeng, Kawasaki, Zhejiang Stronger, and Hengli, came together to offer a comprehensive showcase for the industry.
